Healthy, Authentic Organic Oven-Baked Salmon with Fresh Mango Salsa Recipe

Details on the recipe - 

Cuisine - American (widely loved and accepted)

Course - Main course (Non-Veg) 

Total time needed - Only 35-37 minutes 

Preparation time - 20 minutes

Cooking time - 15 -17 minutes

Ingredients - 

    • Peeled and diced fresh mango

    • Finely chopped red onion

    • Fresh chopped cilantro and some juice of it

    • Minced Serrano chili ( Make sure that the pith is finely removed )

    • Diced red pepper and ground pepper

    • Salt 

    • Olive or Avocado oil as per your choice. You can also try them with coconut oil

    • An oven-friendly pan, and fish spatula.

    • If using the grill, ensure the grill is clean and sprayed with adequate oil to avoid sticking. 

Preparation technique - 

Salsa - 

    • Bring a large dinner bowl. 

    • Add two diced mango with half portion of the onion

    • Four tablespoons of chopped cilantro, one tablespoon of lime juice, some chilies, bell pepper, and sea salt as per taste. 

    • Stir it well and leave it for some time aside to set it well.  

Salmon - 

    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and place the rack in the center of the oven.

    • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the salmon

    • Heat the pan for three minutes. Add oil to coat the bottom of the pan.

    • After the oil gets enough hot, place the salmon in the pan and cook till the salmon is golden and crispy. 

    • Transfer the salmon to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. The time may differ as per the salmon thickness. 

    • Remove it from the oven and place the salmon on a beautiful charger plate or platter. Garnish them with salsa and here your dish is ready to serve!
